Toni and Jamie were great to deal with. Jamie replaced the worn and damaged flooring in my work van. Quality work. Also freed up the lashing points and gave the van a wash which a nice bonus. Would thoroughly recommend Northstar Campervan’s in Irvine 🙂

Solid Knowledge and Experience

I am building my own van but got chatting via message, then on the telephone with these guys. Over recent months they have been so helpful with general advice and guidance and incredibly competitive with their quotes for various items needed in any van build. I find the pictures of the conversions they do excellent and am very happy they are a message or phone call away to help. Amongst other things they have helped me with product or advice on insulation, electrical, fans and windows, water heating and so on.

Recommend them as decent people with solid knowledge and experience. Just wish we lived close so I could visit and meet them all physically.

I Would Recommend Anyone Using Them!

Would like to say a massive thank you to Toni and Jamie at Northstar. I’ve self converted a camper and got to the dreaded electrics! I explained what appliances I had in the van and what budget I was looking around and within a couple of hours Toni had a full build plan put together, wiring diagram made up and well within my budget with some change left over! I had a couple of quotes from different companys and these guys were the only true decent people not trying to rip me off. I had a holiday booked so was in a bit of a rush and everything was there the same week. when fitting the electrics Toni and Jamie helped me more then I could of asked for. answering questions straight away no matter what time or day. They really are such nice, helpful genuine people. even asking general questions about other parts of my build they still took time to show me things I wasn’t sure about when they didn’t need to.

I had the pleasure of seeing a camper conversion they had nearly completed and the worksman ship from Jamie was incredible. The hard work these guys put in really does show. i would recommend anyone using them! I know I will again.

Great business! Highly recommend, the level of knowledge it up there! The fact you have two people who run a business and offer support is just something that’s needed especially with some amateurs winging it so hats off to Jamie & Toni for what they have built!

Great Customer Experience from Toni

I didn’t require a conversion, but needed an upgrade to fully take my camper of grid, Toni was amazing, not only understood what I wanted but provided a wiring diagram based on my set up to accommodate the new equipment… I would thoroughly trust and recommend them to provide a service that would go way beyond what you would expect…

Toni and Jamie have done amazing work on my smaller van. From the planning to the building and all the advice in between I have absolutely zero complaints and I will definitive going back for any changes that requires. I could not be happier with all their work and it is worth every penny.

Full camper conversion

Recently collected my fully converted campervan from Northstar Campervans. Cannot recommend highly enough, Jamie & Toni were amazing from planning to completion & really open to incorporating new ideas throughout. Both are extremely knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. quality of work on completion was outstanding.

Amazing service start to finish. I wasn’t sure of a number of areas I wanted in the van but the expert advice I received was invaluable and helped me get the build I wanted. Communication was excellent throughout the build and every detail was considered. I couldn’t believe the quality of work on the van when I saw it, it was immaculately finished with added extras I hadn’t even asked for but the team were so professional and keen to make sure I loved the van. Follow up has been great as well with any questions and I already have a friend due to get booked in after she saw the quality of work. It is with pleasure that I write a review on NorthStar Campervans in Irvine, Scotland. This is a small, fairly new company, but in my books, they have hit the market with a bang. Run by Husband-and-wife team, Jamie and Toni. A lot of these conversion companies only want to advise when they are doing the full conversion, and in fact its getting difficult to find companies that will do part conversions. I went to Northwest to have windows, and roof vent installed as I don’t trust myself to cut into my van. After talking to them, and getting all sorts of advice, I added some other jobs on, like TV Antenna, Shore power door / Socket and solar panels. All the things needing holes cut in van. While doing my roof vent, Jamie discovered water condensation under my roof insulation. I had listened to all the Facebook experts on how to insulate it. Instantly called me to let me know and took video to show me how bad it was. Jamie set me right and told me the best way to fix it. Gave me a ton of other information on how to convert my van, all just for the asking. Can’t leave Toni out. Even Jamie will say, she is the expert on the electrics in these vans. Which is why when I get to that point in my build, she will become my best friend. Also, if there is anything you need for your build, she is the one to ask. Customer service of this company is beyond great and it will be my pleasure to use for a lot of years to come.

We can highly recommend this company to anyone. We got our van converted and from start to finish it was fantastic! We are absolutely delighted with all bespoke conversion items or cupboards, beds etc etc. Jamie is a perfectionist and it shows! There isn’t an inch in the van, which Jamie has not covered in the bespoke service. We love, love, love our Ford Transit camper van, now. Everything in it, is so practical and thought well through. Camping will be a home to home with Smart tv, Sink, gas hob, heating, Solar panels and batteries. Jamie and Tonie are such a lovely couple and advise you of things you weren’t even thinking about. We are absolutely glad that we have chosen Northstar Campervans-Convertions and Rentals. We usually do not give reviews but this work deserves the best review possible. We wish Jamie and Tonie all the very best for the future.
